It is common to get confused, frustrated and overwhelmed when shopping around for the cheapest airfares to foreign destinations. Here's some quick tips for finding cheap international airfares while conducting your airline ticket search...

Many large cities have multiple airports so if possible, experiment with different destination and arrival airports.

Try booking during non-peak seasons, such as October-April for Europe, Asia and North America and May-Septemeber for Australia, Africa and South America.

Book on Tuesday through Thursday and at non-peak times of day such as the early morning or late night.

Don't forget to have your passport ready when flying out of your country. You probably shouldn't even purchase any airline tickets, hotel rooms or car rentals until you have your passport in hand.
