The airlines know our traveling habits almost better then we do. They know what we’re willing to pay for tickets during certain days and times of the week, and certain times of the year. We’re seeing this $266 fare to Cancun from Los Angeles for numerous dates in January and February. For March travel and beyond it starts to inch up towards and the over the $300 mark.

Over the last several years Dublin has been beating out London as the cheapest place in Europe to fly to from the US. The most obvious reason is its closer proximity to the states. An additional reason is the stiff competition between Aer Lingus, American Airlines and US Air for customers on this route.

We found this particular deal on the Continental.com with one stop each way. Cheaper fares can be found from the east coast. We’ve seen as low as $308 from JFK on Delta. These sub $400 fares are only available for travel through early April at which point they balloon up to $700+.
