$675: San Francisco to Seoul

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Singapore Airlines, consistently ranked as the World’s Top Airline based on factors from friendliness of flight attendants to food quality, is offering sub $700 fares from Seoul from San Francisco. Yes, we usually do get excited when we see prices in the $600’s from the US to Asia.

Tokyo is usually the culprit, but this time it’s Seoul. Travel can be any day of the week with departure date between 2/5/09-5/23/09. However, travel must be purchased by 2/28/09. If you miss out on this deal, Hong Kong is only $753 and then purchase deadline is 3/17/09 with departure date between 2/5/09-5/23/09.

$296: New York to Dublin for St. Paddy’s Day

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

Rarely do we see sub $300 airfares from the US to Europe. Delta is currently offering airfares in the high $200’s for travel across the pond, from New York to Dublin and Shannon.

In addition they’re offering deals to other European cities including Rome, Athens and Barcelona for travel between March 2nd and April 2nd. The fare we found below is for JFK to DUB, non-stop for only $296, arriving on St. Patricks’s Day. Book by March 9th.

$411: New York to Paris on AA in May

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009

Air France just announced their ‘3 day March sale to Europe’ which includes deals on its New York (JFK) to Paris (CDG) route, as well as to other European cities.

But, we’re actually seeing much lower fares for JFK to CDG from American Airlines with their Fare Sale to Europe.

The lowest price we found with Air France for March travel was $557.

In addition to finding lower fares on AA for March travel, we’re seeing it for April and May travel, including (below) for an uncharacteristically low price of $411.

However, please note, one plus about Air France is that they allow a free stopover in each direction in Paris, meaning that you can stay there for several days at no extra charge, before continuing on to your final destination.

$377: LAX to Dublin First Week of Spring

Monday, February 23rd, 2009

Over the last several years Dublin has been beating out London as the cheapest place in Europe to fly to from the US. The most obvious reason is its closer proximity to the states. An additional reason is the stiff competition between Aer Lingus, American Airlines and US Air for customers on this route.

We found this particular deal on the Continental.com with one stop each way. Cheaper fares can be found from the east coast. We’ve seen as low as $308 from JFK on Delta. These sub $400 fares are only available for travel through early April at which point they balloon up to $700+.
