An opulent city of music and culture, Vienna is the capital of the Western European country of Austria.

Vienna is a wine growing region with many vineyards within its boundaries. Only Viennese wines are served at Heuriger taverns, where you can also enjoy good food, peaceful gardens and live music.

Vienna has a long-standing coffee house culture and the Sacher Coffee House, which created the indulgent Sachertorte cake in 1832, still serves authentic Sachertorte made from its secret recipe.

For the ultimate in Viennese decadence, take a culinary ride in the giant Ferris Wheel (Riesenrad). Built at the end of the nineteenth century, its carriages exude old-world charm. Whilst admiring views of Vienna, you can feast on breakfast, afternoon coffee and cake, or a three-course dinner.
