One of the largest cities on the Black Coast, Varna is surrounded by green countryside and sandy beaches and is known as, “The Pearl of the Black Sea Coast.” The beach has never ending appeal, but the city is also blessed with numerous museums, historical buildings and art galleries.

The ruins of the Roman Spa can be found in the centre, dating back to 1700. The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin dates from 19th century and is stunning building. For a relaxing afternoon, stroll along the coast and stop for a drink at one of the many beach cafes. Go!
