This Red Sea resort, once a small fishing village, has grown in size and is now a popular beach destination. Development is still continuing here, but the sea has become the focal point, and over the years Hurghada has developed a renowned for aquatic activities, such as windsurfing, snorkelling and diving. The warm water attracts numerous fish and some stunning examples of coral. Diving to see it is one possibility, but you can also take a trip in a glass bottomed boat to get a fantastic view. Go!
