Fukuoka Airfares

Located on the island of Kyushu, Fukuoka is regarded as being Japan’s gateway between Korea and China.

The city is well known for its open air food stands, or yatai, of which there are about 150 scattered around the city. Visiting the yatai, if only to see what’s on offer, is a must. You’ll find a lot of stands in the Tenijin and Nakagawa districts and they’re generally open in the evening, from 6pm until 2am.

For the best view of the city (if you’ve got a head for heights!), head to Sky Dream Fukouka, one of the world’s largest Ferris wheels.
