Europe has always played a significant role in the world’s cultural, social, political and economic evolution. A Grand Tour of the European continent was once a rite of passage for wealthy young men upon completion of their education. It is a tradition being revived by modern day leisure travelers. Europe offers a rich bounty of travel experiences and a smashing smorgasbord of tastes. Experience fire and ice between the glaciers and fjords of Norway and molten lava erupting from Italy’s Stromboli volcano. Ski the Swiss Alps or soak up sun on chic French Riviera beaches. Cruise the great rivers like the Danube, the Rhine and the Seine. Tour a few of Europe’s 359 national parks. Tee off at the birthplace of golf in Scotland. Watch the Changing of the Guard Buckingham Palace. Soar to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Marvel at the treasures of The Vatican. A Europe must-do list is endless. Fortunately, it is a user-friendly continent; easy to travel from country to country with low-cost intra-European airlines, by rail or rental car at your own pace. Go!
