The Bali Museum is one of the biggest attractions in Denpasar (formerly known as Badung). There are a variety of exhibits, one of household utensils from Balinese history, another of religious artifacts from the 18th century, and yet another of masks and puppets. Pasar Badung, is among the biggest marketplaces, open 24-hours, and includes the traditional batik cloths, and other clothing. Also, Pasar Kumbasari, a market located nearby, off Jalan Gajah Mada, offers souvenirs and trinkets at very reasonable prices.
