By iCheapAirfares Staff: Just about anywhere is historical in the Czech-Republic capital of Prague. On your trip to Prague take a look around at the architecture that was untouched during the war. While in Prague you must see the Prague castle, it has some of the most famous landmarks, including the castle itself. This castle has been a place for all the past Czech kings, whilst there take a look at St. Vitus' Cathedral. Be prepared though, there are many museums, towers, castles, chateaux and gardens for you to see while on your trip to Prague.

The Old Town Square is home to the astronomical clock tower, climb inside the tower for a glorious view, and watch the city pass you by beneath you. There is an entrance fee for the tower, but once you get to the top, the view of Prague is free! The clock was built around the 15th century. It was burned during a fire but the townspeople were able to save most of the pieces, although some have been replaced. Every hour the clock chimes and a small procession of statues comes out with a statue of Christ leading the way as another figure chimes the bell. Go!
