If you’re a museum and/or history nut, check out Mission San Xavier del Bac. Animal lovers should check out the wildlife at Tucson Zoo. If you’re looking to party, head to 4th Avenue and Main where you’ll find DV8 Nightclub or Asylum Nightclub. Mingle with University of Arizona crew and have a few old ones. July and August are extremely hot and you could fry an egg on the pavement. If you’re looking to take some panoramic photos, head up to Lemon Mountain. The temperature is much cooler up there as well! If you’re prone to car sickness, skip the drive up to Lemon Mountain and opt for famous Western venues such as Old Tucson and Tombstone where greats John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and Paul Newman made their careers.
