 SOBE is H-O-T-T!
South Beach is the place to be if you are hip and happening! I went down with 5 of my gal pals and we loved the energy and people watching. It is so colorful and just like a tropical paradise! We went to Cameo Club on Washington one Saturday night and it was so active. Sometimes the door fees can be expensive, but its worth it if your there for only a week. Lincoln Road was great for shopping and sight seeing. We also spent the day on South Beach and had some excellent food at the famous New Times Cafe. Really one of the hottest places I have been too! I am planning a reunion with my gals for next year already!

Gorgeous weather, architecture, (women), hard on the wallet
Miami Beach left my head spinning with the idyllic beach (and
byotch) scenes. Jokes aside, on any given street, (we stayed in
South beach on Ocean Ave) about two or three women who
could and probably do work as elite models, walk by. We spent
some of the trip trying to figure out just why this was, because it
really seems like being in the twilight zone. The locals we talked
to (an early 20\'s girl and guy both working in a havana store)
didn\'t like living there. She complained that the women
unnecessarily wear swimming suits everywhere, instead of just
at the beach. The guy said that the place goes absolutely wild
on Memorial Day weekend, the women flashing guys (and not
with their breasts--think Hustler magazine) and many couples
engaging in semi-discreet sex on the beach. Still, he was tired
of living here, wanting to move back to New York where he was
from.
Restaurants are overpriced--don\'t be embarrassed to be careful
and ask for prices before you order.
