St. Louis is a fantastic place for families to visit because of the famous Magic House and St. Louis Zoo. Visitors can also unwind and relax at Forest Park where the World’s Fair was once held over a century ago. Check out the Gateway to the West and marvel at 630 feet of engineering art. Cheers! Beer lovers should visit the Anheuser-Busch factory where they can see where Budweiser is brewed and packaged. If you’re hungry, treat your taste buds to some classic Italian cuisine at Zia’s on the Hill or some crab corn cakes at the Sidney Street Café. Visit the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis where you can see fantastic interior mosaics that took over 80 years to build. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy the Missouri Botanical Garden where they can discover all kinds of plants. If you enjoy learning about local government, check out the St. Louis Old Courthouse where many have been found innocent and guilty. You can even read about Dred Scott who was unsuccessfully freed from slavery in 1856.
