Sacramento Airfares

By Natasha Jervis: Sacramento is the Capital of California and often overlooked by visitors who seek out other areas of the state. Families love visiting this famous city because they can see crocodiles, lions, and panthers at the Sacramento Zoo. Head to the waterfront where you can see ‘Old Sacramento’ which is full of restored historical buildings and museums. Choo choo! If you love railroads, trains and museums, visit the California State Railroad Museum and the California Museum for History, Women and the Arts. Nature lovers should head to the Capitol Park which surrounds the capital, has memorials and rare trees found around the world. If you get hungry or thirsty after all the sightseeing, enjoy some New York cuisine at Moxie or some cocktails at Joe Marty’s, named after Sacramento’s World Series baseball player. Looking for some exercise? Get your runners on and jog through Marriot Park or down by the Lower American River. Sacramento is a bowler’s paradise with its many bowling alleys such as Country Club Lanes and Alpine Valley Bowl. If you’re looking to golf on your vacation visit the Wildhawk Golf Club where you can play an 18-hole golf course only 6,600 yard from major championship tees! Fore! Take the kids to the Discovery Museum Science and Space Center where they can see a planetarium show and tons of natural science exhibits. If you can sing in tune, check out the karaoke bar and club called Scratch. Try not to burst too many ear drums though! Go!
