A public park surrounds the lake, which is open for picnics and boat rides among the swans. Golf aficionados and novices will also find the perfect course such as the Grande Pines Golf Club which made Golfweek’s list of ‘100 Greatest Modern Courses’ or Hawk’s Landing Golf Club which made Golf Business Magazine's "Top 100 Golf Shops" ratings. Children will also have a blast at the world famous Sea World where they can swim with the whales and dolphins and touch a stingray (carefully), or pretend to be in their favorite movies at Universal Orlando Resort. Family Friendly Orlando
Orlando exceeded our expectations and the Doubletree Castle Inn was great. We were all excited because our hotel was located right in the middle and it was near Discover Cove, Disney, and Sea World. The kids were running around like they drank 5 sodas each! Our hotel was clean, friendly, and it has a fabulous pool area. It was definitely a family friendly place and we had made reservations in advance for Sea World, and Discovery Cove. The kids just loved snorkeling out in the reef, swimming with the dolphins, and going on the rides in the afternoon. The local people in Orlando were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions we had. I guess they are used to having so many tourists around. Discovery Cove was the best part of our trip. My husband and I felt like kids at Disney and all of us want to go back again soon. Next month!!!!
