Las Vegas Airfares

By iCheapAirfares Staff: Located in Nevada, a 4-hour drive from Los Angeles, Las Vegas has risen from a patch of desert 50 years ago to one of the world's biggest tourist and entertainment meccas. Although prices have increased steadily in the last several years, there are still deals to be found on show tickets, hotel rooms and all-you-can-eat buffets. However, in the end it doesn't matter because you'll probably gamble your savings away - or not!

Located along the strip are some of the grandest and costliest hotels in the world, many of which were built around destination themes. The Luxor is pyramid-shaped with an Egyptian theme, the Venetian has canals and gondola rides, the Paris Casino Resort has an Eiffel Tower replica and the New York-New York Hotel & Casino has a NYC skyline with a taxicab themed roller coaster running through it.

Las Vegas has successfully figured out what many adults truly desire in a tourist destination and are providing it - smoking is permitted in most places, drinking is legal on the sidewalks of The Strip, much of the city's entertainment has a sexual component and of course - gambling is legal. Go!

Hard Rock Hotel
Staying 'off-strip' at the Hard Rock Hotel was a gigantic breath of fresh air. Staying in this reasonably sized hotel instead of an 'on-strip' behemoth meant that we didn't have to walk 1/2 mile from our car to the lobby, never got lost in the lobby and received better service, in my opinion. And the pool area was very enjoyable. Something to think about on your next Vegas jaunt - if you really want to relax!

Cheap Buffets and All Night Gambling
We just flew down for a buddies bachelor party and we had a blast in Vegas. What a city! It is full of life, showgirls, and gambling at every corner. We all took a lot of money down with us and some of us came back with more than we went with. We stayed at the Bellagio and had fantastic views of the dancing fountains. The city is bright and active, and the buffets in all the casinos were anything from 3-6 dollars. We played at the MGM Grand one night and then went to a club called Ghost Bar which was on the 55 floor of the Palms Hotel. Martinis, and a fantastic view, what more can you ask for?!!
