California is famous for its Sierra Nevada Mountains, redwood forests, and Central Valley. All must sees if you're visiting! If you’re looking for a top beach then head to Venice Beach where you can bask in the sun. History lovers should head to San Francisco to see Alcatraz which is known for notorious criminals, or see the USS Pampanito, the World War II submarine that is parked at Pier 45. Museum enthusiasts should take a trip to Los Angeles and visit works of art such as Van Gogh, Cezanne and Monet at the J. Paul Getty Center, or take the kids to the California Science Center. Looking for some exercise? Head to San Diego and visit Mission Trails Regional Park, or Balboa Park where you can walk through the gardens and visit the zoo. Educate the kids and take them to the Children’s Discovery Museum, and then treat them to the Happy Hollow Park and Zoo in San Jose. Go!
