 A visit to Arizona would not be complete without seeing the incredible Grand Canyon, located in northern Arizona. The most beautiful spots in Arizona seem to combine a richness of color that only Mother Nature could produce – the brilliant blue of Lake Powell, the red rocks of Sedona, the deep greens of the Flagstaff mountain forests, and the spectacular colors of the Grand Canyon. There are so many roads and scenic trails to hike and drive through for your fill of ‘nature’, and then a jaunt to Phoenix to get a hit of the big city. With its population of over 1,200,000, Phoenix is the fifth largest city in the U.S. Back to nature, it has been claimed that Sedona has a very peaceful feeling. There are many tours to participate in that emphasize that peace of mind and body, for those who would like to have a spiritual retreat while on vacation. After all, how many times have we come home exhausted from a trip, only to need another ‘vacation’? Go!
