Belgium Airfares

Located in northeast Europe, between The Netherlands, France and Germany, is Belgium, a country often overshadowed by its more popular neighbors. Don’t take its lack of front page attractions to mean a visit to Belgium isn’t worth it.

Many seasoned European travelers consider Belgium one of the most underrated vacation destinations in Europe, and that is a good thing because it translates into less crowds and cheaper prices. Brussels, the capital city, has excellent restaurants, architecture, unpredictable weather (prepare for rain, even in the summer), awesome beer and chocolate.

The Grand Palace (central square) will blow you away. Other sites to see include the Atomium, Horta House and European Union Headquarters. Brussels can be a little laid back at times, but if you want to experience a lively nightlife or areas teaming with people, you can find it.

Just a train ride from Brussels is the city of Antwerp, which has the 2nd largest harbor in Europe, and has a rich array of museums, art galleries and historic architecture. There’s excellent shopping and high fashion admist mid 18th century houses on The Meir. Check out the Diamond District adjacent around the Railway Station.
