Banff Airfares

By Natasha Jervis: Banff is a luxurious resort town that is located in Banff National Park. Visitors love the sheer natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains that surround the town. Remember to take extra film with you when visiting, one roll just isn’t enough!

If you are looking for a destination where you can ski, then you are in for a treat. Banff has some of the most inexpensive skiing in North America. Compared to Whistlers overpriced fees, Banff is a blessing! You can ski numerous mountains and still have money for a tasty lodge dinner in the evening.

Banff is especially popular with couples, families, nature lovers, and people who are looking for a budget vacation. There is beautiful scenery and wildlife to enjoy, as well as luxury spas, and restaurants. It can also be a romantic destination for your honeymoon because of the beauty it possesses. Visitors will love driving to Lake Louise and taking photos of the surrounding wildlife. You might even see an elk, or a moose walking in the forest. Keep your camera on hand and ready to shoot when you visit.

Some pros of Banff are that most parts are inexpensive, it has world-class hotels, and it is great for skiers and nature lovers. Some cons of Banff are that there isn’t any nightlife for younger adults and the snow conditions can dictate when you can ski. The pros definitely outweigh the cons, so grab your cameras and ski boots! Go!

10 Days in Paradise
After spending 10 days in Banff, we didn’t want to go home! We woke up to the breathtaking Canadian Rockies every morning and it was snowing everyday while we were there. We are snow lovers and definitely enjoyed skiing on our visit. We took a shuttle bus when we arrived to avoid driving in the snow and felt the crisp cool air on our faces. I recommend packing loads of warms sweaters, socks and jackets if you’re visiting. We were freezing at times! Banff is beautiful, but can be a bit expensive because it is such a fabulous gem. You can travel to Lake Louise from Banff if you want, or drive 2 hours west to Calgary. We went in the winter and it was lovely, but some of the other tourists said it is also a great place to visit during the summer as well.
