Antigua and Barbuda Airfares

Antigua and Barbuda Overview

By Natasha Jervis

Located in the middle of the Leeward Islands these two islands lie 17 degrees north of the equator. After Admiral Horatio Nelson sailed to Antigua in early 1784, this legendary island became Great Britain’s number one Caribbean location and base.

Barbuda was once a scavenger’s paradise after numerous ships were shipwrecked on its shores. Now this quaint little island is host to one of the most amazing bird sanctuaries named Frigate Bird Sanctuary.

Golf addict? Well you can be sure to play an 18 hole round of golf at Jolly Harbour Golf Club, or Cedar Valley Golf Course. FORE! Take a cruise on Creole Cruises Antigua and enjoy a lobster lunch while venturing around the island. If you’re looking for a beach, head to Half Moon Bay for some rays of sunshine and relaxation. Bring sun block! Go!
