This small, landlocked country, nestled between France and Spain, is renowned for its inhabitants having the best life expectancy in the world. Previously overlooked as a tourist destination, it’s now firmly on the map – and there are good reasons why. Its location, in the eastern part of the Pyrenees Mountains makes it ideal for skiing and outdoor pursuit enthusiasts.

The ski resorts work together, so a ski pass covers access to most of the slopes and you can variety in your ski experiences. In the summer months, hiking, mountain biking and trekking in the mountains is very popular, producing fantastic panoramic views from the top.
