Air Transat is a North American airline with a decidedly European flair. From its base in Montreal, the largest French-speaking city outside of France, it operates to 90 destinations in 25 countries.

By nimbly adapting its fleet, the carrier is able to provide year round schedule service between Canada and Europe and charter flights to some of the worlds most desirable locations on seasonal bases. During the cold North American winter months, excess capacity is focused on southern destinations such as Florida and the Caribbean. During the summer months, that excess capacity provides additional service to Europe.

Air Transat’s entire fleet consists of wide body aircraft. The spacious interiors are configured into Club, a premium offering and economy/coach. Coffee, tea, fruit juice and soft drinks are complimentary and the bar menu offers a good selection of domestic and European beers, wines and liqueurs. On transatlantic routes, a hot meal is included in the price of the ticket. On routes to the United States and Caribbean, a buy-on-board meal service is provided.

The in-flight entertainment system offers a variety of current movies, television shows and music with the added features of a flight tracking system, which allow passengers to measure the flights progress.
